Fish Markets. Local seafood is obtained through small retail outlets and fish plants depending on season and quota. Cod, char, crab and mussels are available when in season. No public fish market operates.

Local cuisine reflects Labrador coastal food traditions: Salt Cod is preserved cod rehydrated and cooked with potatoes and onions.
